Technology & Science

Fourth-generation peeling, explained by the science.

Fourth-generation peeling is a category beyond chemical acids and resurfacing devices. Instead of driving renewal through controlled inflammation, LHALALA uses INCUBE technology to exfoliate, regenerate and rebalance the skin while removing inflammation-inducing substances, which is what makes a no-downtime, all-phototype profile possible.

The science of glass skin

Renewal without inflammation.

Recognized chemistry

Built on Nobel Prize–winning chemistry.

INCUBE applies the principles of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF) — the chemistry recognized by the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry — to remove inflammation-inducing substances during peeling.

The actives

Each active, with the science behind it.

INCUBE / MOF

INCUBE applies the principles of MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks), the chemistry recognized by the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, to adsorb and remove inflammation-inducing substances from the skin during peeling. This is the core mechanism behind renewal without inflammation. Variants: INCUBE 504 / 501 / 701 (PLLA).

H2sol™

A peeling composition with anti-inflammatory action and barrier improvement. Alkali plus H2sol from natural sources; gentle exfoliation via a phospholipid structure similar to the stratum corneum.

Patent KR 10-2024-0109462

QPT™

Marine carbon quantum dots (Ulva linza): photothermal, non-toxic, safe for all skin types. Strong absorption alongside laser/LED; helps prevent photosensitivity.

Patent KR 10-2019-0025669

LHA

Lipo Hydroxy Acid (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid): exfoliation reaching the basal layer.

Fitzpatrick I to VI

Designed to be safe for all phototypes. No rebound, because the mechanism is not inflammation-driven, a clinical and a commercial advantage (easier scheduling, higher compliance, faster word of mouth).

No-downtime

Renewal without inflammation means minimal visible recovery; normal activity resumes right after the procedure, which eases scheduling and compliance.

Why no-downtime matters in practice.

  • Renewal without inflammation means minimal visible recovery; normal activity resumes quickly.
  • Safe across Fitzpatrick I to VI, including the darker phototypes most peels struggle with.
  • Integrates with laser, ultrasound and microneedling protocols already in the workflow.
  • A platform, not a single SKU: see the LHALA Peel, LHALA Foam and Biome Fit Gel Mask across the product line.

FAQ

Technology questions.

What is INCUBE / MOF technology?

INCUBE is LHALALA’s core technology. It applies principles of MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks), the chemistry recognized by the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, to adsorb and remove inflammation-inducing substances from the skin during peeling. This is what lets the treatment renew skin without relying on inflammation.

How does no-downtime work?

Conventional peels often drive renewal through controlled inflammation, which produces redness and recovery time. LHALALA’s actives (H2sol, QPT, LHA) exfoliate and support the barrier with an anti-inflammatory profile, so visible recovery is minimal and normal activity resumes quickly.

Can LHALALA combine with laser, ultrasound or microneedling?

Yes. The line is designed to integrate with laser, ultrasound and microneedling protocols. QPT actives, for example, show strong absorption alongside laser/LED while helping prevent photosensitivity.

Is it safe for all Fitzpatrick types?

Yes, Fitzpatrick I through VI. Because the mechanism is not inflammation-driven, the risk of rebound and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on darker phototypes is reduced.

A new standard, arriving

Be among the first to bring LHALALA to the U.S.

A globally proven brand rarely enters a new market from scratch. LHALALA arrives in the U.S. with an established technology, a worldwide clinical footprint and a single, committed distributor, so early adopters lead instead of catching up.
